ElderCare of Minnesota
When memory care affects a senior, it puts very much stress and worry on family members. Making decisions of what to do and where can that elderly family member live comfortably is very difficult to make. ElderCare provides memory care in many of our communities where our compassionate staff aids in the activities of daily living. Monitored activities for all dementia levels are provided and this gives the ease of mind to families that their loved ones are living in a safe and secure setting.
Older adults will sometimes have trouble leaving their homes to receive care elsewhere but where ElderCare offers dementia care our residents are welcome to bring belongings from home with them to try to make their new residence feel as much like home as possible. We offer our residents with memory issues much different care than regular care because everything is secured and supervised with staff on hand 24-hours-per-day, 7 days a week. Our staff does activities with our residents and will accompany them to other activities that are not in the Memory Care Unit. It's very important that our memory care residents are able to socialize with other people. Our staff is able to help dementia residents and give them more one-on-one care that they require when confusion sets in.
Before you make that very difficult decision, please contact us at ElderCare of Minnesota and we'll give you information you need to take that step. We look forward to hearing from you.
